Game Thread: Knicks at Spurs- 3/7/12

Evening, beagles! The Knicks hit San Antonio for the second of a back-to-back tonight. You know the deal. Lots of new to get to:

1. Tyson Chandler is out tonight with a strained hamstring. Jared Jeffries, because of that sore right knee, is also out tonight (and Friday). Josh Harrellson will start at center. (In news irrelevant to tonight, Jerome Jordan has been called back to New York.)

2. Iman Shumpert will start in place of Landry Fields, as expected.

So, things are going to be a bit different this evening. The Knicks will have Shump in the first unit (which, again, was expected and is unrelated to any injuries) and be very, very small up front by necessity. It's a shame Jerome couldn't make it back in time (although it'd be awesome if he came running out of the tunnel to rescue the Knicks in the fourth quarter or something. San Antonio's pretty far from Erie, so I'm only half expecting that).

Should be weird! Comment along here if you're watching and visit Pounding the Rock for some Spurs coverage. As always, please don't post photos, .gifs, illegal streams, or links to hair removal blogs in the thread. Tip-off's at 8:30.
