The Knicks practiced this afternoon in Miami-- presumably their final full practice before tomorrow's Game One against the Heat. The reporters have reported, and we got some promising injury updates as well as a slightly alarming one (Slightly. It'll be okay.) Howard Beck twat this:

Tyson Chandler (flu-like symptoms) and Toney Douglas (virus) did not practice.

Chandler reportedly stayed in the hotel during last night's game. What the hell was he doing in there? Licking the doorknob? Feel better, Tyson. Please. Holler if you need some white blood cells. (You too, Toney. Sorry to leave you out. It's just...you know...)

Hey, but here's some good news, via Frank Isola no less! Jared Jeffries did practice, and is expected to be ready to go tomorrow. It's encouraging that he didn't use today to rest, I think.

Oh wow. I was just about to publish, and now there's this on Chandler from Marc Berman:

Woodson calls it "strong possibility" he could sit with fllu. Hard to believe.

Yeah, I...I just don't buy that. No way. Tyson is invincible. He must play. HE MUST. AND HE MUST SPRAY SPITTLE AND COUGH COUGHS ON ALL OF THE HEAT. Please, Tyson. Please please.

Update from Isola:

Amar'e says Tyson Chandler is wearing a surgical mask to avoid spreading germs. So there's that.
