Evening, gentlefolk! Welcome to another NBA Finals game thread, this time brought to you by some sort of McDonald's product, because that's what's up now, apparently. Delicious. It feels (to me) like it's been a while since we last saw a basketball game, but recall that LeBron James and the Heat staved off a Thunder comeback to take Game Two on Thursday in Oklahoma City. We've now got three straight games--one every other night-- in Miami, because the Finals has a 2-3-2 format, which is something I forget every year and have, in fact, already forgotten since I started this sentence. I've already detailed my inner struggle between vastly preferring the Thunder to the Heat and wanting the Bron, in spite of his despicable employer, to get that ring. At this point, though, I'm just rooting for more basketball because this series is pretty great.
Tip-off tonight is at 8:00 on ABC. If you're watching, comment along here, check out Peninsula Is Mightier and Welcome to Loud City, and fill your belly with lots of McDonald's products, I guess.
