The Knicks invited six friends in for a workout yesterday, bringing their total up to 30 guys who've stopped by for group workouts (at least that we heard about). Tomorrow, they'll welcome in another six, including a couple particularly interesting prospects. Here, via Jared Zwerling plus some help from DraftExpress, is the group for Thursday:

Quincy Acy- 6'8" PF, Baylor

Kim English- 6'6" G/F, Missouri

Chris Johnson- 6'6" F, Dayton (not the one from LSU who's played for a few NBA teams, though the DX profiles of the two are a bit muddled)

Greg Mangano- 6'10" PF, Yale

Tony Mitchell- 6'6" F, Alabama

Hollis Thompson- 6'8" F, Georgetown

So, the Knicks won't bring in the usual Noah's Ark of two smalls, two middles, and two bigs (the idea is that if the world ends and the only basketball players left on Earth are the "Greenburgh Six", the Knicks could repopulate the NBA at every position). As far as I know, English, Mitchell, Thompson, and Johnson are all perimeter-dwelling forwards, while Acy is an undersized inside scrapper and Mangano is a big Ivy League bro. Acy's the only guy whose game I'm familiar with (and it's a lot of fun, if not exactly what the Knicks need), while English we know well from Ross's scouting report. English is also the only one of these folks projected to get picked in DX's mock draft.

Do we know anything else or have any further opinions about any guys in this group?
