Final Score: Knicks 89, Celtics 86

Whoa!

USA TODAY Sports

Hey now. Amar'e Stoudemire anchored a strong bench unit (despite J.R. Smith's miserable first 46 minutes), Carmelo Anthony picked his game up in the second half, guys made a couple big defensive plays down the stretch, and the Knicks got themselves their first win in Boston since 2006 (first in the P&T era!).

I don't feel great about this yet because I'm still waiting for Paul Pierce to sneak around a corner and drill a heartbreaking three. I don't know what to do with myself, really.

Big, big win. Standings-wise, morale-wise, history wise...big. Rejoice!? Recap later.
