The Knicks played some of the most consistently awful defense we've seen in a while, but shot absurdly well from downtown (led by Carmelo Anthony's nine threes, tying a Knick high) to keep pace with the Hawks. Melo's last-second and-one put the Knicks up two with 12 seconds to go, then Josh Smith missed a wide-open three at the buzzer.
Lots to dislike from that one (plenty of good offense, too, but god DAMN), but we'll take the win!
