Final Score: Knicks 114, Magic 106

Melo's pretty good at sports.

USA TODAY Sports

Not the prettiest game the Knicks have ever played, but they survived. Their first and third quarter defense was downright horrid, but they dominated the even quarters. Defending the second and fourth and letting Carmelo Anthony eviscerate bigger Magic defenders down the stretch were enough for the victory. Not all that different from New York's first game against the Magic, actually.

Melo's final line: 40 points on 14-29 shooting, six assists, six rebounds. 16 points in the fourth quarter. Pretty okay.
