Hello there. The Knicks are back home to play a basketball game, which I guess is good since they just lost all those road games. They'll be wearing orange jerseys, which seems like a bad idea. They'll also be playing a New Orleans Pelicans team with a dangerous backcourt in Jrue Holiday and Eric Gordon and the rather terrifying Anthony Davis up front, which seems like a bad idea. The Knicks should have scheduled a game against someone else.
But yeah, those are tough covers all around, and they constitute the usual potential for pick-and-rolls that just destroy the Knicks. Per usual, the Knicks will either have to suddenly morph into a non-terrible defensive team or go wild against the Pelicans' mediocre defense. Just, like, hitting open shots would be a nice start.
Starters today are the same. J.R. Smith may play reduced minutes because of his sore knee, but I bet he doesn't. This is your game thread. This is The Bird Writes. Please don't post large photos, GIFs, or links to illegal streams in the thread. Win, Knicks. It's a new month. Make it a winning month.
