You're not gonna believe this, but the Knicks played some great stretches of offense and built a lead while the Raptors missed a bunch of shots and committed a ton of turnovers, only to blow that lead with unnecessary switches that granted open threes and left the smallest players defending the rim.
The Knicks got some sharp individual performances in a sloppy game-- Andrea Bargnani's shooting fell off, but he grabbed 12 rebounds, Beno Udrih put up a double-double, J.R. Smith did a genuinely lovely job creating off the dribble and picking his shots-- but granted the same to the Raptors. Jonas Valanciunas dominated the glass while Terrence Ross, DeMar DeRozan, and John "Swimmin' Upstream" Salmons killed the switching Knicks on perimeter catches.
