Good evening! The Knicks-- winners of one straight-- play a SEGABABA tonight against the Magic. First, the big news: After tweeting this afternoon that they'd be wearing their CURSED orange jerseys this evening, the Knicks have switched to white:

HUGE news. Moving on: Mike Woodson says he's shortened his rotation and that Metta World Peace is the 10th man in it. He basically suggested that Metta won't be getting regular minutes for the time being. Let's count that out: Felton, Shump, Melo, Bargnani, Martin, Smith, Prigioni, Hardaway, Stoudemire...World Peace, Udrih, etc? Yes? BUT, Amar'e Stoudemire will not play tonight after spinning last night in Brooklyn, so perhaps Metta will. Sounds like it was Amar'e's decision, though one never know. When Amar'e does play, Woodson would like to use him in the pick-and-roll more, which makes sense to me, though I do like him as a pick-and-roll decoy as well. In general, Woodson would like to go back to more things from last year (not that Amar'e in the pick-and-roll is an especially last year-y thing):
Woodson said: "We went back to some of our old stuff that did last year and that we had kind of gotten away from." Um. Why did you go away?

Yeah, I don't know why that wasn't the default, but okay. We'll see if he means it. The Knicks did play a bit smaller last night, which was nice.
For Orlando, Jameer Nelson will go after missing three games with a sprained foot. I suspect keeping him in front of the defense will be key to stopping the Magic at all.
