The Knicks might get stuck in Minneapolis.

Saturday's practice and Sunday's game may be in jeopardy because of the storm back East.

I don't know if you've heard, but it's gonna snow a lot in a lot of places. I can confirm that it's already dumpin' pretty hard outside my window. This is not a good weekend to be flying places on planes, but the Knicks are scheduled to do just that. Some Nemo things:

Chris Herring:

Woodson said Knicks may not be able to fly back tonight bc of weather. To prep for Clips, they may hold a hotel-ballroom walk-thru tomorrow.

Marc Berman:

Knicks coach Mike Woodson said he was even worried about the status of Sunday’s big 1 p.m. showdown vs. the Clippers.

Woodson said if they still can’t fly into New York Saturday morning, he will hold a "shootaround practice’’ here in Minnesota. The Clippers are also having travel issues in getting into New York after their game in Miami also on Friday night.

"If we can’t get back there because of the snow we just got to adjust,’’ Woodson said. "Let’s just hope the game’s not cancelled. That’s my whole thing.’’

The game is broadcast on ABC so the NBA may try to do everything to play it. However, an NBA spokesman said it is looking into the Knicks-Clippers situation.

"We are always monitoring weather situations,’’ NBA spokesman Tim Frank said.

Oddly enough, I've been stuck in the Minneapolis airport before because of bad weather back East. It's not a great time. Better safe, than sorry/a Knicks version of Alive, though. (The answer to the question there is: Kurt Thomas).
