Game Thread: Knicks at Warriors- 3/11/13

The Knicks begin their five-game road trip at Golden State.

Debby Wong-USA TODAY Sports

Hello, friends! Tonight begins a grueling stretch for the Knicks and those of us who like to go to bed sometimes. A five-game western road trip-- four of those games tipping off at 10:30-- starts with a visit to the Golden State Warriors. These teams met just a couple weeks back, and you may recall New York winning that one despite Stephen Curry scoring a few points.

Tonight's match-up is a bit different. The Knicks won't have Amar'e Stoudemire, who underwent his surgery today. They will, however, have Carmelo Anthony back after a three-game absence. David Lee, who missed the last meeting, will suit up to face his former-team-but-only-in-name-because-not-one-of-his-teammates-or-coaches-is-still-around-except-Herb-Williams.

Curry's unlikely to go off for another 54 points, but he's still bound to give New York's perimeter defense some problems. Lee, meanwhile, poses a new and difficult challenge for Melo in his first game back (though, going the other way, I think Melo'd prefer Lee to Draymond Green or Harrison Barnes).

Oh, and it's Bollywood Night.

This is your game thread. This is Golden State of Mind. Please don't post large photos, .gifs, or links to illegal streams in this thread. Regardless of what happens, I'll get a final score post up after the game, but the recap may have to wait until the morning. We'll see how my eyelids feel. Go the Knicks!

Update: Forgot to mention tonight's starters: Raymond Felton, Iman Shumpert (now called by his own name!!), James White, Carmelo Anthony, and Tyson Chandler
