Good evening, dear babies. The Knicks' win last night in Boston was the first of a back-to-back. The SEGABABA is tonight in New York against the Grizzlies, who are much better than the Celtics but also playing shorthanded. As a courtesy to the still-Tyson-Chandler-less Knicks, Marc Gasol re-aggravated his abdominal tear and won't play tonight...I think? Gasol or not, the Grizzlies are bigger than the Celtics were and than the Knicks are, and they're quite good at rebounding, especially on their own misses. Kenyon Martin will have his hands full with Zach Randolph (that was a fun match-up in last year's playoffs) while Carmelo Anthony will have to battle with guys like Darrell Arthur and Ed Davis. Marcus Camby, who sat last night, should get some minutes as well.
Cool! I don't know how this Knicks-Grizz battle's gonna go-- the last one was rough, rowdy, and a Knick loss (the first)-- but I'm ready and excited. Got a chest pocket full of jellybeans. This is the thread. This is Grizzly Bear Blues. Please don't post large photos, .gifs, or links to illegal streams in the thread. Tip-off's at 7:30. Get them Ws, Knicks!
Update: Gasol will play. Rude.
