The Knicks face the Celtics in New York.

Mark L. Baer-USA TODAY Sports

Good evening! We're under an hour away from the final meeting of the season between the Knicks and Celtics. Some injury news:

- Tyson Chandler will not play tonight, but feels better and hopes to practice Monday and play on Tuesday, depending on how tests go. We'll see about that tomorrow. For now, no Tyson.

- The Celtics still won't have Kevin Garnett, but Courtney Lee is expected to play this time around.

So, let's see how this goes. The Knicks could take the season series 3-1 with a win tonight, which would make me feel a bit less terrified about that potential playoff match-up. They won in Boston earlier this week, compensating for their poor shooting by winning the rebound and turnover battles. If New York can deter a visit from Paul Pierce: Garden Troll, get another solid night from J.R. Smith and/or Carmelo Anthony, and-- above all else-- dominate possession of the ball, they should be in good shape. The Celtics, as we know, are not to be trifled with.
