Game Thread: Knicks vs. Thunder- 4/7/13

The Knicks face the Thunder in a Sunday matinee.

Debby Wong-USA TODAY Sports

Good day! Sunday afternoon basketball! The Knicks' wonderful win streak will meet its greatest obstacle yet as the Oklahoma City Thunder visit Madison Square Garden* for a nationally televised affair. This is the second meeting of the season between these teams, the Thunder owning a 1-0 advantage after narrowly surviving a J.R. Smith-led challenge by the shorthanded early-March Knicks. This time around, Carmelo Anthony will be involved, and with him and Kevin Durant currently neck-and-neck in the scoring race, there seems some potential for a good ol' shootout.

New York's rotation beyond Melo will be as it was in the last game: No Kenyon Martin (just precautionary, they're saying) or Marcus Camby, leaving Tyson Chandler as the only real big man.

So, today could be the day the streak ends, or it could be the day it grows into something far grander and crazier. Turn on ABC at 1 to watch, comment along here, and check out Welcome to Loud City. Please don't post large photos, .gifs, or links to illegal streams in this thread. Go the Knicks!
