Well now.
JR Smith is questionable for Game 3 due to illness, #Knicks say. He missed shootaround this AM.

This being J.R. and the last week or two being the last week or two, the dude could be ridden with every virus known to man and folks will still assume he's hungover or otherwise responsible for his own illness (licked a basketball, ate a sock he found in the road). He has not set himself up well for this news.
There is also this:
If you are very cynical, you'd say JR went out last night. If you're a little cynical like me you say Knicks don't want JR talking to media

It's Isola, I know, but these are also the Knicks and that's not totally out of the question.
I don't know. We'll see if J.R. plays tonight, and if he does, we'll see how he looks and how much Mike Woodson relies on him. Win or loss, all that's going to draw a lot of attention.
Update:
Woodson says JR Smith has 102 degree fever. Not sure if he'll play. Amar'e will play tonight. #Knicks

With JR pretty much, definitely, out w illness (102-degree fever) Woodson says Shumpert & Prigioni will see increased minutes. #Knicks
