Monday Tailorbirds

Links!

Hello, friends. I hope you're having a pleasant Memorial Day. It's been a bit since we rounded up the loose crumbs of Knicks news floating around, so if you'd like to take a break from grilling flags and drinking meats, you can check out some links below.

- Tailorbirds-- which you may know if you, like me, grew up with the book/film Rikki-Tikki Tavi-- live all around the tropics of Asia and, true to their names, sew their nests to leaves. For real.

- Amar'e Stoudemire is going to keep working with Hakeem Olajuwon this summer. Starting in August, they'll continue to practice post moves and defense. No word yet on whether Tyson Chandler might join him, but that'd be cool.

- Our friend Dan reflects on the Knicks' depth this past season and how injuries, age and the domino effects therein kinda stripped New York of that depth by the time it really mattered.

- Related: our friend WSD grades Jason Kidd's 2012-2013 season.

- Draft workouts start next week! We'll keep track of those in conjunction with our Know the Prospect series.

- The Knicks may be interested in bringing Henry Sims back for Summer League. According to one unnamed person they are not at all interested in Chris Smith. While I respect the acknowledgment that Chris Smith is not good enough to play in the NBA, I still wonder if he could end up with the team-- at least in Vegas-- as part of the incentive for J.R. Smith to return.

- Iman Shumpert and Sinbad. Because.

- James Dolan's influence begets unusual meetings (I gotta assume that's how this came to be).

That is all! Have a splendid evening. I'll put a thread up for Grizz-Spurs watching later tonight.
