Aha! After an afternoon without an announcement, I thought the Knicks might be taking tomorrow off from workouts, but we have a late-arriving lineup. Here's tomorrow's group:
Phil Pressey: 5'11" G, Missouri (22 years old)
Pierre Jackson: 5'10" G, Baylor (21)
Tim Hardaway Jr.: 6'6" G, Michigan (21)
Glen Rice Jr.: 6'6" F, Rio Grande Valley Vipers (21)
Tony Snell: 6'7" F, New Mexico (21)
C.J. Leslie: 6'9" F, North Carolina State (21)
Of note:
- The position battles are pretty clear here. After today's big man match-up of Jeff Withey and Mike Muscala, Tuesday's workout will be a Noah's Ark of miniature point guards, late-first/early-second-round-projected wings named after their All-Star dads, and rangier wing-types. No real big men in this group.
- Rice played at Georgia Tech with Iman Shumpert, but later got kicked off the team and spent last season playing in the D-League.
- These are all guys projected to go in the late-first or early-second round. No randos here.
- Combine interviews for each of these guys.
That's pretty much the extent of my knowledge. What else do y'all think about this group?
