At last, it is here. After dropping the full regular season schedule a week and a half ago, the Knicks finally came out with their exhibition schedule:
Date Opponent Arena Time
Oct. 9........ @ Boston Celtics.................. Dunkin' Donuts Center, Providence, RI..................... 7:30 p.m.
Oct. 11...... @ Toronto Raptors............... Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ONT............................ 7:00 p.m.
Oct. 12...... @ Boston Celtics.................. Verizon Wireless Arena, Manchester, NH................... 7:30 p.m.
Oct. 17...... @ Washington, D.C.............. 1st Mariner Arena, Baltimore, MD............................ 7:00 p.m.
Oct. 21...... @ Toronto Raptors............... Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ONT............................ 7:00 p.m.
Oct. 23...... @ Milwaukee Bucks.............. Resch Center, Green Bay, WI................................. 8:00 p.m.
Oct. 25...... vs. Charlotte Bobcats........... Madison Square Garden, New York, NY.................... 7:30 p.m.
So, nothing even remotely close to a home game until the very end of October, presumably because of the ongoing renovaSKYBRIDGEtions. They'll give us our first look at this year's team on October 9 against the Celtics in Providence, then head up north for most of the preseason, with the exception of a trip to Carmelo Anthony's hometown of Baltimore for a match-up with the Washington NBA team: the ,D.C. And then there's that one last home game against the Bobcats. All of these games will count.
Cool! Just under two months to go.
