Carmelo Anthony missed his three games after spraining his ankle against the Magic, and now he's back:
Melo will play tonight vs. Spurs— Al Iannazzone (@Al_Iannazzone) January 2, 2014
It's already been acknowledged that Melo wouldn't be "100%" upon returning, so we'll see how he looks. It's the Spurs, so it's not like the Knicks match up great either way.
Barring a surprise, Raymond Felton and Pablo Prigioni will remain out, which means Beno Udrih will surely remain the starting point guard. No word yet on how much (if at all) Jeremy Tyler will play, but I hope he gets a chance soon, if only for the diversion.
I guess this is as good a time as any to mention that this guy coming back to play for the Knicks tonight has been the subject of a couple articles suggesting he won't return to the Knicks because an anonymous former teammate says so and because Stephon Marbury went to a Knicks game. [shrugs so hard my shoulders flatten my skull]
