We knew this would happen, even though Jordan Vandenberg just signed:
Oct. 25 – NY Knicks President Phil Jackson announced today that the team has waived guard Langston Galloway and center Jordan Vandenberg.

Those two, plus D.J. Mbenga and Orlando Sanchez, are now eligible to have their rights sent to the Westchester Knicks if that's what everyone wants. We'll see about that.
Meanwhile, Travis Wear survived another round of cuts. He's the 16th man on a roster that needs to get down to 15. This is encouraging if you're among those who think Wear is more deserving of a roster spot than a guy on a guaranteed deal. Like, say, Travis Outlaw. I don't know about you, but I'd rather have the end of the bench occupied by a young Travis who looked promising running Triangle sets in preseason than an older Travis who doesn't offer much of anything.
I didn't think the Knicks would be willing to eat guaranteed money to keep Wear around, but now I'm wondering...
And, right before I hit publish, aha!
Hearing that the #Knicks are strongly considering waiving forward Travis Outlaw, who is slated to make $3 million. Would make room for Wear.

We'll see.
