Andrea Bargnani was targeting tonight's game against the 76ers for a return. He was "limited" in practice Friday, and I guess this is why:
An MRI on A. Bargnani's right calf revealed a strain. The injury occurred yesterday during practice. He will be out tonight versus @Sixers

Yeah, while testing one body part, Andrea hurt a different one. That or the Knicks healed Jose Calderon by transferring his injury on to Bargnani. I'm iffy on the morality of making one player the injury sponge for the whole team, but it's an interesting tactic.
For realz, though, that's a bummer for a guy whose had a tedious start to his season. Bargnani hasn't played basketball in almost 10 months now.
(Meanwhile, until told otherwise, I will assume Calderon woke up feeling spry today and will play in Philadelphia. Updates as they come.)
