The Knicks, fresh off a day of all their stink getting aired out in public, will play the Spurs tonight in San Antonio. Carmelo Anthony will sit to rest his sore knee:
Carmelo will not play tonight.

Anthony won't give time frame on how long will rest but says surgery not being talked about now. "Last, last option." Knows won't get worse

This is noteworthy because, from the sound of things, Melo *could* play through the pain, but will not. I am pleased with this decision. Melo also addressed the aforementioned stink:
Carmelo says #Knicks are "all committed" to the triangle but there are times when the players have been frustrated due to losing.

"Me and Tim have no problems," Carmelo Anthony said. "He would tell you the same thing."

There was also a team meeting over the weekend:
Melo said big players only meeting took place Saturday where issues were aired.

Fine. Losing sucks. It makes people mad. Maybe the Knicks won't do that tonight! A lot of the Spurs won't play:
Pop says Parker, Ginobili are out. Duncan is game time decision. Splitter will play limited minutes.

This is your game thread. This is Pounding the Rock. Please don't post large photos, GIFs, or links to illegal streams in the thread. Go the Knicks!
Update: No J.R., either.
More fun - Knicks say JR Smith (sore left heel) will not dress tonight at @spurs. He was limping during warmups earlier
