Hi! The Knicks, mess that they are, are still required to play basketball games, and are scheduled for such an event tonight at Madison Square Garden against the Nets. Brooklyn's not doing so hot either, but the last time these teams met, they won quite easily. Will things change now that the Knicks have Jose Calderon healthy? Quite possibly not!
Tonight's lineup:
Fisher says Amar'e will start at PF with Dalembert at center, Carmelo at small forward and Calderon and Shumpert in the backcourt.

Tonight's injury report:
J.R. Smith (flu-like symptoms) is out tonight versus the @BrooklynNets at @TheGarden

Feel better J.R. (And he was sick during the last game, so save your "huhuh jr's hungover he likes to do parties" jokes unless you're...oh man, could J.R. have a three-day hangover?).
While I don't mind losses, I think the Knicks could reallllly use a win before folks in the locker room get too grumpy and explode. The players probably need to feel good about their basketball-playing for a moment. I hope tonight's the night.
Tip-off is at 7:30 on MSG. This is your game thread. This is Nets Daily. Please be civil to Knicks and Nets fans alike. Please don't post large photos, GIFs, or links to illegal streams in the thread. New thread after the game, recap from Jonathan later on. Go the Knicks!
