Our favorite first-year Knick was elected to the All-Rookie, First Team! Congratulations, Tim! We here at P&T, along with inimitable Steven Kerr, thought you were even better than this accolade might suggest!
Young master Hardaway made quite the impression from day one this season. He was always ready to start firing d33p s3a bombs, or torpedo his wiry frame at the rim if defenders closed out aggressively. Armed with a quick and decisive first step, and the penchant to get hot in a hurry, he should prove to be a reliable rotation player for years to come. This award just helps confirm the Knicks got a steal at last year's biennial NBA Draft.
Hardaway Jr. has plenty of work to do on his game, particularly on defense, where he is susceptible to every type of off-ball cut that exists. I'll happily hold off on judging the way he reads screens, because Woodson. All in all, a truly bright spot in a season devoid of satisfaction! Great work, Tim!
