Whoa, 2015! It's 2015! Cool. That's the year the Knicks will become different Knicks. For now, they are the same Knicks, and those same Knicks will play the Pistons tonight in New York. The Pistons are, like the Knicks, quite bad, but they punted Josh Smith recently and have found a bit of success since. These teams last met very early in the year, right on the precipice of the "hey they might be okay" cliff, before the full plunge into the garbage pit of tanking. Detroit won by a little, and the Knicks were never .500 again.
Tonight, more basketball! I'm putting this up a bit earlier than usual, so I don't yet whether Amar'e Stoudemire will play or Carmelo Anthony will sit -- or whether the guys who returned last game will see any change in status -- but I'll try to get those updates in before tipoff.
