Good evening! The snow has abated and Madison Square Garden is fit for basketballing again. The Knicks host the Kevin Durant-less Thunder tonight. The last time these teams met, OKC whooped the Knicks so thoroughly and so quickly, my grandpa stood up and marched straight out of my parents' house and didn't return. It was awesome. Anyway, your Knicks status updates:
Fisher says Calderon is good to play. Amare will be out, and Travis Wear is out, too

Calderon, Galloway, Melo, Jason Smith and Lou Amundson will start tonight.

To recap: Kevin Durant (sprained toe, plays for a team scrapping to get back in the playoff picture) will not play. Carmelo Anthony (needs knee surgery, plays for a team better off losing than winning) will. I'm done worrying about this, but it's still goofy to me.
Tip-off is at 8, I think because this is one of those erstwhile ESPN games that got punted to save the children of America from witnessing Knicks basketball. GOOD. YOU DON'T DESERVE THE KNICKS, CHILDREN OF AMERICA. This is your game thread. This is Welcome to Loud City. Please don't post large photos, GIFs, or links to illegal streams in the thread. Do whatever, Knicks! Just don't hurt yourselves!
I'm taping this one. Joe's got your postgame thread, stingy will have the recap later on. Be kind to one another.
