Word is Lou Amundson will sign a 10-day with the Knicks as early as tomorrow

First of all, if you're wondering why they're signing guys they acquired then waived mere days ago, I assume it's just because a 10-day contract is cheaper and a little easier to work with than a regular one. Or maybe the Knicks made those cuts by accident, like WHOOPS WAS THAT THE WAIVE BUTTON I THOUGHT THAT WAS THE KEEP BUTTON UNDO UNDO UNDO. You never know.
As for the actual players? Eh. Lou Amundson's been around a while and everyone knows what he does: Kinda rebound sometimes, have long hair, not much else. Thomas is a Duke guy (and a North Jerseyan, heyyyyy) who's been in and out of the league for a few years and, as far as I know, doesn't really do anything either. He's a forward.
Since wins don't matter, those open spots provide an opportunity to test weird, obscure players. Get creative. This isn't that at all. Kinda disappointing, but it's just 10 days for now.
If these two moves go through, the roster will be back at a full 15.
