The Knicks scored fewer points than their opponent...but who really cares about the score? The Knicks' B team hung with a Charlotte Hornets team that has dominated the preseason, for whatever that's worth. This is was the first real game where the end-of-the-bench preseason dudes got action, and with the exception of point guard Travis Trice (with whom I might just be falling in love) they just kind of farted around in the fourth quarter.
To the highlights!
Kristaps Porzingis was rusty in his first game back from a thigh strain, but he did sink a silky jumper off a nice feed from Langston Galloway:
Cleanthony Early was magnificently aggressive tonight, driving hard to the rim for layups and one sweet dish to Derrick Williams.
The backcourt of Jerian Grant and Langston Galloway doesn't mess around on defense.
Derrick Williams did his usual preseason thing:
And Grant broke out a shooting slump in the second half with some fancy moves.

Oh, and today is the 30th anniversary of Patrick Ewing's Knicks debut. Have a good one!
