Good evening, my friends! The Knicks and we have had a few days away from competitive basketball, and now it's time to get back at it ... against a team that hasn't had such a break. The Wolves are playing their third game in four nights -- they arrived in New York laaaate after letting the Nuggets go off in Minnesota Tuesday. They'll also be without noted Knick killer Kevin Martin.
That said, the Wolves have had some great games this year, and they're perfectly capable of beating the Knicks with a decent offense commanded by Ricky Rubio and Andrew Wiggins -- both of whom could carve a New York defense at its laziest.
The most exciting match-up, of course, will fall on Kristaps Porzingis, who'll be rested and out to prove he hasn't hit any kind of wall, facing the equally spectacular and charismatic Karl-Anthony Towns for the first time ever. That's gonna be great. I suspect we'll see them face each other more than lineups suggest (with Kevin Garnett a late scratch as well, Towns and Gorgui Dieng are the bigs. Unclear there who is center and who is power forward.)
Tip-off tonight is at 7:30 on MSG. This is your game thread. This is Canis Hoopus. Please don't post large photos, GIFs, or links to illegal streams in the thread. Please be kind and courteous to each other and all visitors, and please do not engage with stupid or inappropriate comments. Go the Knicks!
