Good evening! The Knicks play the Cavs tonight. Let's get to the updates:

Knicks say Melo and Kyle O'Quinn are both sitting out tonight vs the Cavs with sprained ankles. Merry Christmas!

Lance Thomas will start in Carmelo Anthony's place, and Melo sounds hopeful to be ready for the end of the week. Beating the best team in the East is a lot to ask of a team absent its best scorer AND its beardiest big man, but you never know. I expect Arron Afflalo to engage first-option mode, I hope Kristaps Porzingis feels comfortable gunning a bit, and ... well, I'm fascinated to see who else steps up.
