The Knicks are in the midst of a brutal stretch of games, and haven't exactly covered themselves in glory this past week. The last thing they need is an injury and OH DEAR GOD NO!
Kristaps Porzingis went into the x-ray room after the game. I think they looked at his hand.

Kristaps apparently hurt himself in the first half of New York's 117-98 loss to Atlanta. How could something like this happen on Boxing Day? OK, let's all calm down and wait for the X-ray:
Kristaps Porzingis says they took an x-ray on his finger after it swelled up. Says he thinks it's fine.

.@kporzee injured his right index finger but X-rays are negative. He says it caused some issues passing/shooting but he'll be fine.

Phew. We shouldn't be surprised that Kristaps shrugged off this injury ... he's Latvian, after all. Assuming he plays Sunday against the Celtics, his shooting form will bear watching. The Baltic Cobra hasn't exactly set the nets on fire of late, and a nagging injury could set him back even further.
And so I beg of you, dear friends: cut off your right index finger, stuff it in an envelope, and mail it to:
