A report from the Daily News states that late last night after the Knicks' home win, Cleanthony Early was attacked near a strip club in Queens by "four to six" people wearing ski masks, two of whom had guns. Early's assailants used three cars to "box in" an Uber car in which he and his girlfriend were riding, then robbed him and the car of jewelry and valuables and shot Early once in the right knee. Early was transported to the hospital in stable condition. A NY1 TV report notes that Early's girlfriend was not harmed in the shooting.

According to DNAInfo, Early walked to a nearby home, where an ambulance was called.
The robbery and shooting come just over a week after guests in Derrick Williams's home stole over $700,000 worth of jewelry. The degree of organization becoming clear with each new detail about this attack is pretty terrifying.
