Final: Bulls 111, Knicks 80

game

Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

Hey there, fellow Kentucky fans! Did you know that the New York Knicks played a basketball game Saturday night as well? They did indeed, losing 111-78 to the Bulls in Chicago.

Tom Thibodeau's boys played these haggard, overwhelmed 'Bockers hard to the bitter end. At one point in the third quarter I swear I saw Jimmy Butler steal 18 consecutive passes.  I can only assume they were showing solidarity with Mike Woodson. Every Knicks opponent seems to be playing in the spirit of avenging Woodson these days.

In all seriousness, this team is just going through the motions at this point. They're playing like a team forced to rely on Andrea Bargnani -- 14 points, seven rebounds -- as its only scoring option. Now they know how those post-Bosh Raptors squads felt.

This team is unspeakably bad at the moment. They're not even good enough to keep their deficits manageable, so as not to attract the further mockery of the whole hep basketball world. Just end already, season.

Recap to come. Go Towns!
