Poll: Who should the Knicks draft?

New, comments

Let's assume Towns, Okafor, and Russell don't drop. Now what!?

The Star-Ledger-USA TODAY Sports

It wasn't that long ago, we wondered who the Knicks should take with this pick. We took Karl-Anthony Towns, Jahlil Okafor and D'Angelo Russell out of contention and you thought out loud, and it was a great exercise. Now the true and fateful day is upon us, and I'm curious what you think now and what has led you up to this point?

I woke up at 5:00 AM to vomit off some anxiety. After a fiery short circuit, I fell back to sleep for two hours. Got up to grind and guzzled some coffee. Then I ate some lovely pie and my nerves barfed it right on out. My throat is scorched and thicketed. This is draft day. Will there be another time? Another year?

This awful day of smokescreens and deception will eventually close with a hyper-reality dredged from the reckoning of a 15-year nightmare. The culmination of strange trades, a massive contract being Dolaned out, an injury plague and tanking into abject oblivion. This is the closest we may ever get to game-changing talent. Will the player we so desperately covet be snatched from just in front of us yet again? Please help me see beyond the fret. Please tell me that someone will be there to help lift us up. Please tell me who you know who it will be.
