Another name to throw on the pile, via Real GM:
The New Orleans Pelicans, Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks are so far among the interested suitors for Portland Trail Blazers free agent Robin Lopez, league sources told RealGM.
Who knows what "interested" actually means or where it's coming from, but I'm happy there's some connection there. I'd like Lopez. He's big, he knows what he's doing on defense, and he's got a fantastic sense of spacing on offense. He certainly won't create anything with the ball, but he'll finish, he'll rebound ... adequately, and he'll keep the ball moving without getting in the way. Everything depends on dollars and years, but I'd love to see the Knicks end this summer with Lopez on the roster.
So, just to catch up on the "interest" list at this point: Lopez, Danny Green, Greg Monroe, Arron Afflalo, LaMarcus Aldridge, DeAndre Jordan, David West, Tobias Harris, Al-Farouq Aminu ... that's probably not everyone, but those are the biggest names I can remember that came up over the last couple days. They're interested in pretty much everyone. Some will meet with the Knicks, many will sign elsewhere before the Knicks even make a real offer.
