Kristaps Porzingis will not play in EuroBasket, but Willy Hernangomez will

On one hand, it's fun to watch Knicks play in international competition. On the other hand, it's nerve-racking to see a Knick risk injury wearing another uniform, especially when he's 19 and kinda frail and hopefully the future of the franchise. On that note:

Bummer, but understandable and probably Knicks-approved. That makes 0 Knicks currently under contract who'll play in EuroBasket, since Jose Calderon is sitting out for Spain. I don't think Louis Labeyrie will make the French roster either. However ...

Willy! There's our guy to watch this September, and it sounds like there will be plenty of watching to be done.
