Carmelo Anthony injured his right ankle late in the second quarter vs. the Celtics, stepping on a referee's foot:

He tested it at halftime, but needed to come out after the first possession of the third quarter. He then headed back to the locker room and will not return. X-rays were negative:
X-rays on Carmelo Anthony's right ankle were negative. He will not return with a sprained right ankle.
