Wassup in Westchester: Thanasis Antetokounmpo dominates in W-Knicks loss

Raptors 905 120, W-Knicks 112

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Remember that dramatic overtime victory on Wednesday, when the Knicks stormed back against the Jazz, only to give up three heartbreaking points at the end of regulation, only then to take care of business in overtime? Imagine living through that game, only without the "take care of business in overtime" part.

That's precisely what happened to the Westchester Knicks on Friday night, as they crawled back from multiple double-digit deficits in the second half against Raptors 905, but couldn't stop Bruno Caboclo from nailing a three to send the game into overtime. Unfortunately, there was no Derrick Williams to save Westchester in the extra frame -- jeez, that's still weird to type -- and the Dubbity-Knicks fell in overtime, 120-112.

Highlights!

Thanasis Antetokounmpo:

Have yourself a night, Thanasis! The D-League Greek Freak dropped 22 points on 10-15 shooting to go along with two rebounds, one assist, four steals and a block. If he's ever going to make an NBA team, the above highlight is a pretty good example of what he needs to do offensively: baseline cut, layup, steal, dunk, diagonal cut, layup, dunk, dunk, and more dunks with the occasional corner three sprinkled in.

Keep it up, young Athenian.
