One interesting quirk of the D-League schedule is that you occasionally play the same team in the same building twice in two days. The Westchester Knicks lost to the Sioux Falls SkyForce on Friday night, and because no sensible person would want to make a second trip to Sioux Falls, they simply turned right around and played them again Saturday night.
This time, it was the Dub-Knicks who would emerge victorious, 110-100. Jimmer Fredette scored 37 points, bringing his two-day Sioux Falls total to 73. Clearly this was the most successful trip to South Dakota since Al Swearengen set up his brothel in Deadwood.
Highlights!

And now for my beef with the D-League highlight makers. They're an intrepid group, cranking out highlight packages within minutes of the game's conclusion. But sometimes they overlook the real prospects in favor of guys with superficially superior numbers.
Case in point: They put together a package for Gani Lawal (14 points, 14 rebounds), but failed to cover the mightily Triangular performance of Darion Atkins (14 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, 1 block).
I'm no highlight wizard, but Atkins' performance deserved at least a token effort. So here you go!
Kid has really refined his post moves. I look forward to more Darion Atkins goodness to come.
Stay up, Westchester!
