The more things change, the more things stay the same ... at least in terms of NBA rookie honors.
Kristaps Porzingis was named Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month for December. #Knicks

Porzingis and Towns repeat as East and West rookies of the month.

Yung Zingy had a down month, at least by the spectacular standard he set in November. All told, Kristaps contributed 12.6 points (41.8 FG% / 36.6 3P% / 92.3 FT%), 6.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists. Pretty darn good three-point shooting, but his overall shooting efficiency declined, along with his points and rebounds.
Porzingis had an up and down month but still ranked 2nd among East rookies in scoring (12.6 ppg) & rebounding (6.4 rpg) and 1st in blocks.

I'm rather surprised they didn't give this award to Jahlil Okafor, who ranked ahead of Kristaps in points and rebounds ... but, hey, I'm not complaining.
Keep up the good work, my dude! The Rookie of the Month awards sweep is still on the table.
