Before leaving New York, head coach Jeff Hornacek told the media he expected the point guard to play, according to Marc Berman: “He’s going with us, playing the game and whatever happens after that we’ll see. For now that’s the plan.’’
The Post’s Julia Marsh, who is heading to L.A. to cover the trial, was informed by the judge that Rose will not be forced to miss time.
Judge in #DoevRose in phone conference today: "I'm not going to force him to miss a game," to testify.

Whether or not a settlement happens in the next few hours, Derrick Rose will be in the starting lineup Tuesday evening.
In other news, starting center Joakim Noah is listed as questionable after sitting out Monday’s practice with a hamstring injury.
