In case you missed it, Monday marked Courtney Lee’s 31st year on this planet. Cue the sparkly pixie dust graphics!

Though he has yet to play a game in the orange and blue, Lee is still a veteran, which means it’s up to the Knicks’ youngsters to serenade him (and also Derrick Rose, I think, whose birthday is Tuesday) with a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday to You.”
As you can see, Kristaps Porzingis appears to be conducting the chorus of Willy Hernangomez, Maurice Ndour, Chasson Randle, JP Tokoto, Ron Baker, Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Marshall Plumlee. That’s good — tremendous leadership shown here by the big Latvian. Poor Ndour can barely see over Kristaps’ shoulder. Don’t feel bad, Maurice: You still got the wingspan.
You have to feel for Kuzminskas, by far the oldest of the group at age 26. I only wish they had done this a few years ago when Pablo Prigioni was a rook. That would have melted my heart.
