The New York Knicks held practice Friday, the last one before Saturday night’s preseason home opener against the Brooklyn Nets. Starting center Joakim Noah was limited in practice and will probably (hopefully) sit out the game, according to Ian Begley.
Noah’s hamstring problem has become so bad he can’t even put on a shirt!

But enough doom and gloom ... let’s get to the practice footage.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, WILLY HERNANGOMEZ PUT-BACK MADNESS! Kristaps Porzingis must have taught him that when they were playing for Sevilla.

The video starts out with some nice buckets from Chasson Randle and Maurice Ndour. Clearly these directors know what I want to see in my practice highlights. Ndour also drops a dime to Ron Baker from the post that is so magical you can barely see it on video.
We also see Lance Thomas and Willy running a side pick-and-roll off a baseline inbound play. I had to do a double-take just to make sure it really was Lance, who isn’t exactly known for his passing (6.4 AST% last season, worst on the team). So, hey, if Lance has suddenly developed pick-and-roll skills, that would be pretty sweet.
Knicks basketball Saturday, wooo!
