Raptors 118, Knicks 107: Scenes from a predictable loss that was predictable

Hey, the Knicks lost.

NBA: New York Knicks at Toronto Raptors Nick Turchiaro-USA TODAY Sports

The New York Knicks lost a close game in Toronto against the Raptors, which is a decent loss as long as you didn’t have to watch the last two minutes or think too hard or have emotions and stuff.

Kristaps Porzingis struggled a bit from beyond the arc, but he also was quite good at the dunking:

Oooh that was nice. Here’s another dunk:

Carmelo Anthony was quite good at the scoring of basketballs through three quarters, but struggled in the fourth. Also his defense left a lot to be desired, which is being a theme this season.

Derrick Rose also scored many points and played shitty defense:

DeMar DeRozan scored a buttload of points, and at one point Clyde said Lucas Nogueira looked like Bill Russell. Everyone looks like Bill Russell when you’re playing the Knicks, even random Brazilian kids with big-ass afros.

And so New York is a season-worst three games below .500. That is bad. It’ll probably get worse.
