Kristaps Porzingis and Carmelo Anthony combined for 24 points in the first quarter

Nice start.

NBA: Utah Jazz at New York Knicks Gregory Fisher-USA TODAY Sports

The Knicks’ dynamic duo of Kristaps Porzingis and Carmelo Anthony took the Utah Jazz to church early Sunday afternoon, scoring 24 of New York’s first 26 points in the first quarter.

Kristaps got the party started early with a quick 14 points before sitting with foul trouble:

Melo chipped in most of his 10 points after his partner in crime hit the bench.

The Knicks led Utah, 30-20, at the end of the first quarter.
