The New York Knicks headed for the Rockies Friday, practicing in Denver in preparation for Saturday’s clash with the Denver Nuggets.
New York needs a victory to pull out a winning road trip, so it would be nice to get back two of their starters, Carmelo Anthony and Rose, both of whom missed Thursday’s loss to the Warriors.
Well it appears we’ll be getting at least one of them back:

Melo sat out with a balky shoulder, though it also appeared also to be a rest day for some general wear-and-tear. He’ll be looking for his first win on his former home court since he was traded to the Knicks (New York hasn’t won in Denver in 10 years).
As for Rose, who has missed three of the last four games with back trouble, he participated in practice, but will wait and see how his back feels before the decision is made.

Hey, Joakim Noah is better than the coach!

That kind of old-man-beating attitude is exactly what the Knicks need to take into Saturday’s game. Let’s get it!
