The Cleanthony Early Era in New York (the state) has come to an ignominious end. The first draft pick of the Phil Jackson regime, who struggled through two injury-plagued seasons with the Big Knicks before signing a deal with Westchester in the offseason, has been traded to the Santa Cruz Warriors:

Courtney Fells is a 30-year old shooting guard, a veteran of several pro leagues scattered throughout the world. We wish you the best of luck out in California, Cle.
In other news, Chasson Randle won the D-League Player of the Week award following his insane scoring outburst. Here’s a nice little interview, where he credits being out of the mask for his increased efficiency from beyond the arc:

Randle couldn’t quite crack 36 points during Tuesday’s loss to the Los Angeles D-Fenders, but he had a fine all-around game on offense, with 23 points and 7 assists (6 turnovers, though...he really needs to cut down the turnovers):
Maurice Ndour and Marhsall Plumlee were sent down to the D-League on Tuesday. Big Poppa Plums struggled somewhat (9 points, 10 rebounds, 5 turnovers), while Ndour put up 22 points and 7 boards in the game:
Both Ndour and Plumlee were recalled to the big club after the game.
