Kristaps Porzingis left Thursday’s game with a knee contusion, but he’s fine

NBA: Indiana Pacers at New York Knicks Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

Save us, Santa! Kristaps Porzingis left Thursday night’s contest with the Orlando Magic after hurting his knee on a drive to the basket:

It originally looked to be the dreaded non-contact injury, but upon closer look he banged knees with a Magic defender. He immediately collapsed to the floor, taking at least 6 years off all of our lives.

Kristaps quickly checked out and went straight to the locker room. Fortunately, he came back out soon after, rode the exercise bike for a few minutes and took a seat on the bench. He was available to return if the Knicks needed him ....

... which they didn’t! Don’t scare us like that, Kristaps.
