Would you like to see a player in a Knicks jersey hit a clutch shot? It sounds crazy, I know, but it actually happened Friday night, albeit within the confines of the Westchester County Center.
The Westchester Knicks held off a rally and topped the Sioux Fall Skyforce, 95-91. Yeah, these teams have played each other three times in a row. Center Jordan Bachynski -- Mr. @BLOCKchynski if you're nasty -- put the W-Knicks ahead for good with a hook shot, and then sealed the victory at the other end with a last-second block. It was beautiful. No wonder Bachynski earned himself a spot on the official D-League Prospect Watch list, along with Jimmer Fredette and Darion Atkins.
Highlights!
Bachynski:
Travis Trice:
Travis Trice was the other hero for Westchester, scoring 20 points (including two last-second free throws) and dishing six assists (including a dime on Bachynski's go-ahead bucket).
And let us not forget the contributions of Jordon Crawford, who came off the bench to score 16 points, hit a second-quarter buzzer-beater, and rock some magnificent hair:
The W-Knicks have won two games in a row and are an unstoppable force of nature. GET OUT OF THEIR WAY!
